Burn ISOs directly in Windows Vista

Neil Monday has some nice instructions on installing and using ISORecorder. ISORecorder is a new power toy for Windows Vista that lets you burn ISO images. This is brilliant. I've been using Nero 7 but sometime there are issues. Plus, Nero used to be great but they have become bloatware if all you need to do is burn the occasional file or ISO.

Windows Vista has a 'Burn' button right in each view. I've used it and it works well. Now with ISORecorder there may be no need for other 3rd party Apps.

  • Just wanted to make a note that the ISO Power Toy utility is NOT a Microsoft utility, and is provided by Alex Feinman. I am sure he would appreciate a link to his actual website instead of (or in addition to) direct links to the downloads.
