Windows Vista and iTunes
Apple has put up a page outlining their thoughts on Windows Vista. Essentially, they say don't upgrade just yet until we get the next version of iTunes out.
iTunes 7.0.2 may work with Windows Vista on many typical PCs. Apple recommends, however, that customers wait to upgrade Windows until after the next release of iTunes which will be available in the next few weeks.
Ok, Apple but why haven't you been beta testing the new OS and getting your software up to speed? Getting people talking about a new version of iTunes rather than Vista this last week should have been reason enough to get an upgrade out the door.

Funny stuff. Apple should have a new version of iTunes out for the roll out of Vista. Why? Is a few weeks going to kill the early adopters?
If you can't wake the few weeks run the current version with the patch from Apple.

I can wait. If it wasn't for my daughters iPod I wouldn't even have iTunes on my system.
You are right, early adopters will probably go search around for a patch or figure out a work around.
To me it's really a missed opportunity to be in the lime light for Apple.
