If you've done a clean install of Vista on your HP Pavilion or other HP with a multimedia keyboard you will want this driver: Spring 2007 original driver for the HP multimedia keyboard solutions.

It's Vista compatible and gives you back that nice on-screen display (for things like volume control), drive eject and other multimedia buttons.
