Windows 7 Has Been Released to Manufacturing

Congrats to the Windows 7 team on releasing the OS to manufacturing! We’re one step closer to getting the complete non-beta code.

The time table is:
* OEMs: July 24th
* ISVs/IHVs/MSDN and Technet Subscribers: August 6th
* Volume License with Software Assurance: August 7th
* Microsoft Partner Program Gold/Certified Members: August 16th. Remaining languages will be available by October 1st.
* Microsoft Action Pack Subscribers: August 23rd. Remaining languages will be available by October 1st.
* Everyone else: October 22nd

  • Announcing MeshPack – Live Mesh is a unified computing environment that gives data access, device access and synchronization for all my important data and software. This means I can access anything I need from all my computers, from a web browser, and even from my smart phone. Mesh also supports sharing so that I can give someone access to a folder.
