• Coming Soon: Google Chrome Extensions – A Google developer conference scheduled for May 27th will include a session on developing extensions for Chrome, which leads Google Operating System to conclude that we’ll see the extensions platform go live on or before that date.
• House Approves DTV Delay Legislation – The House of Representatives approved legislation Wednesday, 264-158, to delay the analog cutoff TV date 115 days to June 12, 2009
• Windows Feature Pack for Storage 1.0 – This feature enables the Windows platform to do master style optical burning on Blu-Ray media.

• CSRF Protector – Firefox Add-ons – Very nice add-on, as recommended by Steve Gibson on Episode #166 of the Security Now podcast.
• Videos from 3D Basecamp 2008 – SketchUp Basecamp was in June. Google has posted here all the videos of the event.
  Google SketchUp is software that you can use to create, modify and share 3D models. It's easier to learn than other 3D modeling programs, which is why so many people are already using it.
• How to get the Windows Media Center Sideshow Gadgets to install on TV Pack – Nice reg hacking tips for getting this to work.

• Microsoft Preps External Blu-Ray Disc Optical Drive for Xbox 360 – Toshiba-Samsung Storage Technology Corp., a joint venture between Samsung Electronics and Toshiba Corp., has been contracted to manufacture external Blu-ray disc drives for Microsoft Xbox 360 game console.
• Asustek planing touch panel Eee PCs – Asustek Computer is planning to launch touch panel Eee PCs in the first quarter of 2009

• 13 Gmail Extensions for Firefox 3 – I use Better Gmail but there are some other handy ones in here like being able to have multiple different signatures.

Sites that I found interesting for August 11th 2008 through August 13th 2008:

• Kingston high capacity 32GB card – Kingston announced it is shipping a 32GB Elite Pro SDHC Flash memory card for use with today's digital video camcorders and other high-resolution imaging devices. The new 32GB card is the largest capacity in Kingston's Elite Pro line of SDHC cards, which currently includes 4-, 8- and 16GB capacities.
• Hitachi Releases New Blu-ray Camcorder – Hitachi will ship a new Blu-ray Disc camcorder to dealers in September. Model TDZ-BD10HA
• Screengrab Firefox Extension. – It will save what you can see in the window, the entire page, just a selection, a particular frame… basically it saves webpages as images.
