  It’s going to get worse before it gets better for domain registration company Go Daddy. Yesterday, we reported that Go Daddy had reversed its decision to support SOPA. Its customer service reps are even taking to the phones to beg you to keep your domains with the company.

• Saturn's Rings to Disappear August 11th – In a celestial feat any magician would appreciate, Saturn will make its wide but thin ring system disappear from our view Aug. 11.
• Skywatchers set for meteor shower – Skygazers are preparing for the high point of the annual Perseid meteor shower.
• Google's super secret search upgrades: They want your feedback – Google is upgrading its search infrastructure and it's being very secretive about it.
  In a post on its Webmaster Central blog, however, Google engineers Sitaram Iyer and Matt Cutts insist that ordinary users won't even see the difference.

• Guide: How to Enable Concurrent Sessions in Windows 7 RTM – Missing Remote shows us how to enable concurrent sessions in Windows 7 Ultimate. Concurrent Sessions allows you to Remote Desktop into a system that someone else is on, under a different user account, and access the system without kicking the user off.
• Engadget’s guide to building a HTPC for under $1,000 – This is an interesting build. Worth reading if you are thinking about building an HTPC. I wouldn't use a video card with a fan on it though. Try to keep fans to a minimum.
• New element named 'copernicium' – Discovered 13 years ago, and officially added to the periodic table just weeks ago, element 112 finally has a name.

• Historic Bible pages put online – About 800 pages of the earliest surviving Christian Bible have been recovered and put on the internet. Better brush up on your Greek.
• How to tell an Xbox 360 is a Jasper – Since the Jasper model looks identical to the older 360 you have to know what to look for to tell you have/are buying one. There are a few ways to identify it, but the most dependable is to look at the power requirements, which are printed on the serial number sticker on the back. While the older models required 14.2 amps, the Jasper only draws 12.1 amps. Via @bjdraw on Twitter.

Egyptian archaeologists have discovered a pyramid buried in the desert and thought to belong to the mother of a pharaoh who ruled more than 4,000 years ago.

• Test explores if robots can think – An experiment has been taking place in Berkshire to see if robots are capable of intelligent thought.
• 3rd Party Applications for Vista Media Center – Nice compilation of 3rd party apps for Vista Media Center
• Memeorandum Colors: Visualizing Political Bias with Greasemonkey – The algorithm looks at the stories that blogger's linked to before, relative to all other bloggers, and groups them accordingly. People that link to things that only conservatives find interesting will be classified as bright red, even if they are personally moderate or liberal, and vice-versa.

For some reason I have always been fascinated by Stonehenge. I’ve managed to get there 2 times so far and I live 6000 or so miles away. In this video, BBC News reports that archaeologists working at Stonehenge say they have pinpointed the date of its construction.

There are some fake music files showing up on sharing networks. The fake file poses as a music track, short video or movie and has been widely seeded on file-sharing networks to snare victims.
