Secure Google Calendar
One annoyance I observed back in April when Google launched their calendar app was that if you use the links at the top of your screen you could switch between secure (HTTPS) and unsecure (HTTP) modes. I always use secure mode when checking my GMail and I find this a huge oversite. Thanks to Greasemonkey and Mark Pilgram's GMail Secure script you can get around this issue and stay secure. Paul Bausch has described how to do this in his blog entry: Secure Google Calendar
1. Install GMail Secure
2. Choose Tools -> Manage User Scripts... from the Firefox menu
3. Highlight GMailSecure, and click Add next to Included Pages
4. Add two entries:
http://google.com/calendar*
http://www.google.com/calendar*
5. Click OK to close
