A new computer chip has helped scientists create some of the clearest images of the universe ever seen.

The Earth’s shadow crept across the moon’s surface early on Tuesday, slowly eclipsing it and turning it to shades of orange and red. The total lunar eclipse was visible in North and South America, especially in the West.
