Twitter access in Mexico may soon be restricted if plans by the Mexican Revolutionary Democratic Party become law. The plan, drafted by republican and PDR member Nazario Norberto hopes to restrict Twitter usage in an attempt to cut down on Crime.

- Twitter Under Phishing Attack? -
Numerous Twitter users are pointing out that Twitter forced them to change their passwords out of the blue. According to blogger Andrew Girdwood, these users have received an email containing the following message: “Due to concern that your account may have been compromised in a phishing attack that took place off-Twitter, your password was reset,” together with a link for resetting the password.

- Ustream Raises $75 Million in Funding -
Live video streaming platform Ustream has just announced that it has raised $75 million in a Series B round led by Softbank, a telecom firm based out of Japan. Additional funding from strategic investors (aka previous investors) is still pending.
According to Ustream, the funding will help them expand their live video platform beyond the states and into Asia.
Softbank is an investor in Alibaba.com, social app maker RockYou, is the lead owner in Yahoo Japan, and has telecom and Internet busi.. show all text
