- Adobe confirms PDF zero-day attacks. Disable JavaScript now – Malicious hackers are exploiting a zero-day (unpatched) vulnerability in Adobe’s ever-present PDF Reader/Acrobat software to hijack data from compromised computers.
- Windows 7 MCE + DVBLink for HDPVR = HD Happiness – Here are the steps used to obtain DirecTV HD using Windows 7 MCE, but you should be able to use any Set Top Box. The Hauppauge HDPVR will record from your set top box to an h.264 wtv file. At the moment the Xbox 360 is the only MCE extender that can play video produced by the HDPVR.

The other day I talked about micro-blogging and mega-blogging and shared my view that new forms of social media, including micro-blogging, are complementary to blogging. We’ve seen ongoing growth at WordPress.com as people started using Twitter, and we expect that to continue.
Of course one of the coolest things about Twitter right now is the client applications, particularly the mobile/iPhone ones. I use Tweetie 2 on my iPhone every day.
