  • Google to sell TV ad time for NBC Universal – NBC Universal will offer advertising time from several of its cable networks for Google to sell through its Google TV Ads service as part of a multiyear advertising, research, and technology partnership, the companies announced Monday in a joint statement.
  • London Stock Exchange suffers .NET Crash – Trading would have been extremely brisk, but then, at 9:15 AM GMT, the Exchange's software failed due to "connectivity issues." Six-hours and 45-minutes later, the London Exchange, along with the Johannesburg Stock Exchange, which uses the LSE's trading platform TradElec, were finally back up.
  • Google halves time it keeps your data – Google is halving the time it keeps your IP addresses on its servers. Billed as "another step to protect user privacy" the move is really to keep regulators at bay.
  • United Airlines dives on old news – United Airlines (UAL) shares plummeted after an old news story about the group filing for bankruptcy protection mistakenly resurfaced on the internet.
