NASA Launches Satellites to Study Solar Storms Reaching Earth
Bloomberg: A rocket carrying the satellites, known as the Solar Terrestrial Relations Observatory, or STEREO, was launched from Cape Canaveral in Florida at 8:52 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time yesterday, NASA said on its Web site. One satellite will orbit ahead of Earth and the other behind.
