Why is Technorati so inconsistent?
I have a couple blogs. I use the same tool, Qumana, to write my posts and ping both Technorati and Ice Rocket. Ice Rocket seems to pick up my posts fairly quickly for all blogs. Technorati has updated quickly on all blogs except this one. No new posts have been entered for TechLifeBlogged in Technorati for the last 68 days. That is despite pinging them even at other times.

Me too! I only started blogging 3 weeks ago, so this is all pretty new to me. I have three blogs on blogger. All claimed successfully on Technorati. Two of them index just fine on Technorati - they update fine every time I ping on Pingoat. The third NEVER showed ANY of the over 20 posts I have made. Finally this evening, I archived all the posts on my hard drive, scrapped the blog, and started all over with a new one. Very frustrating. I looked at Janice's Technorati Site at

I also tried looking at the differences in HTML between the three blogs, and tried to cobble some of the code from the good sites with the claim code from the bad one, but that didn't work either. Maybe you can find something on Janice's blog that will help you. I had no luck. I'm back on track for now; just hope it doesn't spontaneously happen again.
