Easily Embedded Player

If you post mp3 files or podcasts you might want to take a look at this new feature from del.icio.us. It's a simple piece of code you put between the Head tags of your blog or other web page:

<script type="text/javascript" src="http://del.icio.us/js/playtagger"></script>

Then, when you link to an mp3 it will automatically wrap it with a player that people can just click on to play it within your blog.

One thing I learned at the Podcast Expo was that a surprising (actually overwhelming) number of people listen on-line rather than downloading or subscribing. This is a nice easy feature to implement for your users/listeners.

Once play is started, users will have an option to tag your mp3 file via their del.icio.us account.
