ThinkNOLA
The other day I mentioned my wiki about katrina help. It was fun to build but not enough. There is a great effort going on over at ThinkNOLA that I have decided to join and help out. The site have been up for a several days and if you've been there you may notice a redesign. We're getting the direction down, writing mission statements and generally reorganizing the information.
Essentially, we are a community portal that is going to teach New Orleans how to keep their communities together using the web, and doing so by helping them work with whatever web tools work for them. When we see people struggling to communicate, we step in an estbalish a social network.
